Alkenes will be out in ffxi gil action 5 and maybe hunters will have the chance against them. While alkenes have really low damage, they have an awesome defense but as long as you keep them slowed, they shouldn’t be a problem.
Though their damage isn’t high, they do unleash damage really fast with a high number of hits. The best way to go is keeping them from you, because they don’t have ranged attacks, however they can cast skill from quite a distance away from you.
They should be easier than bags and ask to kill because they don’t have a rests buff and they can be kb-able. One of their buffs increases their total shield value but 5k at around 130.
